Don’t Miss These Holiday Events in Magical Murrieta!

Murrieta serves up unforgettable experiences all the time, but it particularly excels at bringing the holiday spirit to locals and visitors alike during the winter season. With gorgeous weather year-round and no shortage of things to see and do, Murrieta is the perfect holiday destination for you and your family to check out this year. Whether you’re enjoying a Christmas-themed ladies night or stopping by to see the city’s magnificent tree lighting ceremony, you’re guaranteed to delight in the joys of Merry-eta.

Murrieta’s Holiday Magic & Festival of Trees

If there’s one thing for certain, it’s that Murrieta knows how to do Christmas. Every year, merry-makers delight in the city’s Holiday Magic and Festival of Trees, a weekend-long celebration of the start of the holiday season.

On December 4th, head on over to Murrieta’s beautiful Town Square Park for the Festival of Trees, where you can purchase a tree, pick a theme and decorate it to win first place in the tree decorating contest. These trees are then donated—decorations and lights included—to a family in need!

On December 5th, join us at the Town Square Park Amphitheater for a free movie night featuring the movie Elf, with kids crafts, vendors and more for the entire family to enjoy!  Kiddos can dress up like Buddy the Elf, or wear their pajamas for this festive, cozy movie night.

Both days will have holiday crafts, entertainment, vendors, a holiday story reading, and more!

Chilled in the Park

Who said fireworks are just for the Fourth of July? Take a short trip over to Temecula for Chilled in the Park, a celebration of the holiday season that will feature entertainment, an ugly sweater contest, a kid’s zone, food vendors and more! In the evening, settle down for a magnificent display of fireworks that is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Grinchmas Holiday Experience

Put some glam into your Christmas holiday with a stop at Hashtag, the Inland Empire’s only selfie experience gallery. At their “Grinchmas” Red Carpet Celebrity Event, you’ll be able to tour and take photos in an interactive recreation of Whoville. Meet classic characters from Whoville, including the Grinch himself, and enjoy other live performances

A Christmas-Themed Ladies Night Out

Leave your significant others and kids at home, because it’s time for a Ladies Night Out! Grab some of your best friends and join in this festive night of fun, with live music and karaoke, dancing, and free appetizers and swag to the first 50 women who arrive. Don’t forget to wear a Santa hat and a red top or dress to match the holiday theme! Party-goers can also bring a wrapped gift if they want to participate in the gift exchange.
